A Little Bit About Me...
Writer and avid reader since childhood, the narrative form was my first love— and eager to express myself from an early age, my style was where I found it easiest to do so without judgement.
Once I gained the confidence within myself to share my stories, I'd find a home I'd never leave. That home would be New York City where I thrived at the School of Visual Arts with a concentration in Screenwriting, all the while working in the Art Departments to make ends meet. That hard work would pay off when I won my graduating class' award for Best Screenplay for Latchkey Kids, which is currently in pre-production starring Alan Kim, Elsie Fisher, Idina Menzel, and Jae Suh Park.
Through school and afterwards, I worked as Production Designer for a few short films and Michael Perrone's feature film debut on Amazon Prime, EVOL: the Theory of Love, to then transitioning into a happy home in Costume Design for Investigation Discovery's Evil Lives Here, Shattered, and Dead of Winter, amongst many a project now based in the NYC area. Most recently, I completed Costume Designing Joe Berlinger's Madoff: The Monster of Wall Street, spanning between the 1960s to 2008 in New York, which is available on Netflix streaming now.
Currently, I am writing and producing a number of new projects to follow up Latchkey Kids and am again transitioning to B-Unit Director for Investigation Discovery Channel's Evil Lives Here. I love working with actors and am constantly working to evolve as the best narrative storyteller I can be.
Stories can reveal much to us about what is profound to ourselves, the world, and the human condition. I believe they can help change the world and I truly believe that to tell stories is what I was put on this earth to do.
